What data I collect
This site uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. With your consent, the following may be collected:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or source
- Browser type, device type, and screen resolution
- Approximate geographic location (country and city level, not precise)
- Interactions such as clicks and scroll depth
The data is aggregated. It is not used to identify you personally. No names, email addresses, or personal details are collected through analytics.
Cookies
This site sets the following:
- Analytics cookies, set by Google Firebase and Google Analytics. They track anonymous usage and are only activated after you give consent.
- Preference cookies, set by this site, store your cookie consent choice in local storage. Strictly necessary for site functionality and not used for tracking.
How I use the data
Analytics data is used only to:
- Understand which content is most useful to visitors
- Improve site performance and reading experience
- Identify and fix technical issues
I do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties beyond the analytics provider (Google).
Third-party services

Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access, request a copy of any personal data held about you
- Rectification, request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure, request deletion of your data
- Restrict processing, request limits on how your data is used
- Object, object to the processing of your data
- Withdraw consent, clear local storage for this site to revoke analytics consent

Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted. Local storage preferences stay in your browser until you clear them.
Children's privacy
This site is not aimed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect data from children.

I may update this policy. Changes appear on this page with the updated date.
